River Inn, Big Surf.

I want to live there. Ha, we actually have something in common, we both have been in the army…except I was in the Spanish army 2002-06 and we both like to write. A guy following my blog not knowing anything of me being in the army, one of his posts was about military spending and the rest. He did say something to the effect “they say we have the best and brightest…bla, bla, only people without any other option or mental capacity get into the army” That pissed me off, I actually went into a rant as to how if you become a sniper, all the shit that goes into it, hight, wind direction, distance, atmospheric elements the hole shabang, ending by saying that actually we are both mathematicians and physicists. I´ll send him your blog, tell him look another stupid soldier like me. Good pictures, I´m daydreaming right now with the pictures cause in front I can only see a yellowish white wall and to my sides there´s not much except a farting dog. Stay Frosty.

I supported the Airborne units in my time in the Army. Most had college degrees. Wanted to test life and see the world. People outside the military can’t understand the people who wanted to test their strength and heart. My Grandfather came from Spain. Castellenas is my name. One day I would like to spend time in Spain. Thank you for the comment. I hope you and frosty is enjoying the summer.

Yep, they don´t understand. If you can do it with your mind you can do it with your body(almost anything),either it brakes you or makes you stronger that was my experience plus the good friends that you make there, I think it´s in all armies from all countries. Just people, who go through some tough things and then laugh about it,why cry?not getting you anywhere like that, I wouldn´t be writing if I got stuck in the past. Plus nobody made me join,it´s all volunteer.I will stay Frosty, enjoy the summer in moderation and blogging. I appreciate you read some of my crazy stuff. I was going to say that you too enjoy the summer but you seem you got that already. Read ya.

Old photos. Three friends in the Army. We like free climbing. I took the pictures in dangerous and crazy places. We free climb most of the coastline and the fault line. Good to be young and time to discover new things. Thank you for stopping by.
