Don’t make me sad. Don’t make me cry.
Don’t make me sad. Don’t make me cry.
A Poem by Coyote Poetry
We need good song. We need good times and laughter. Life moved too quickly.

Don’t make me sad. Don’t make me cry.
She declared to the almost complete moon. This is a perfect night.
We have found sacred place where we can dance and sing to the Spring moon.
She lifted me up and we walked barefooted on the seaside sand. She told me. You make me come alive and not conceal my thoughts and true want.
You create surge of hope and possibility. Please don’t make me sad. Don’t make me cry and
learn regret.I kissed my California beauty and I asked her. Can words be meaningful? Or are promises just words
we are living to break? Love take us deeper and deeper till we explode with joy. Can love expand
and grow? Is love myth or tale?

She scribble words into the sand. She told me read the word please.
I love you.
I brought my love near and I whispered. The gods of the nights are kind. Brought us
together to dance and sing praise the moon and the stars. Beneath the Spring moon we
will release veil of fear. Allow hope and love to flow.
She looked at me and said. Tonight we will entangle two hearts. We will dance and sing till the morning light. Her wet lashes and trembling lips made me wish for us to be a story of feast and great love. I wanted her face to be my first to see in the morning and to be the last to see at dusk. She read my mind and she whispered.
I need and want the same.

John:
You have a great talent. Your phrases are fresh and full as the “almost complete moon”. I read your work just to touch in again and again with a man who knows how to put the inexpressible into words that no one else has used. Unique? Original? Yes of course all of that but also a little like “Sugarman.” Osuna Rodreguez. If you have not read of him, Google him. Listen to him. and you are a brother.
