Poetry Street: Helena | Poem by Rish B
Amazing artwork and words.
Helena
On the day I cry,
Is the day it rains,
I feel you all to myself,
I love you Helena.
The blood spilled,
Strands of tears falls down,
I feel all bad for what I made you go through,
I love you Helena.
I don’t deny it,
You were the one for me,
You say those last words,
“I love you too Johnathan..”
When my tears falls more,
It occured to me how…
Special you were to me..
But now it is all gone.
Nothing more but an endless memory.
Sincerely,
Rish B

Yes beautifully touching!

So, I saw that you liked one of my posts and followed me and I came to check your blog out. This is a beautiful poem. And you’re going to be surprised to know it has a strange connection to my work. I’m working on a book I’ve been writing since I was seventeen, and one of the main characters is a woman named Helena who kills herself when she hears falsely that her lover Jonathan died, and he comes home to find her just too late, holding her in his arms.
Life is funny.
