Little girls
Baby girl left for college. I learned a new sadness. Can’t protect your babies forever.
Yesterday baby girl needed her daddy. Needed the safety of his hand in her hand. Today I would love to be
able to pick her up from school. Hear her tales of new adventures.
I do understand. Real love releases their children to live, dance, sing, test life and learn. All of us parent have only left, are prayers and hope for our children.
Please lord of life and death. Keep my children safe. Please lord of life and death. Keep all children safe from war and violence. Please ensure all kids have food, shelter and chance.

This is very nice. It’s a blessing to be a parent, yet a heartache too. I’m enjoying my boys while I can, before they are grown.

Oh John…congrats on a wonderful new phase of life for your daughter! You must be proud. I can’t imagine how bittersweet it must feel to release your baby girl out into the big wide world. It would be scary to not be able to protect her, but she looks like a very strong woman in the making!
