Soliloquy of a dreamer
I have enjoyed your poetry this morning. Especially this amazing poetry.
If tomorrow should ever come,
I hope it comes with boundless fortunes
That will shower the days with rain of gold,
So, now I write my dreams on the stars
And plough my wishes on meteorites.
Nightmares twirl in my head
But I rest it on a pillow full of dreams
As I pray that if tomorrow ever comes,
May it be brighter than yesterday
So that my sons and daughters live in harmony.
When the sun rises tomorrow,
I hope it will cast its rays into our misty day
Blooming smiles in our dimples
And sweep off the shadows of terror,
I just dream of a joyous tomorrow.
I wish the days come slow,
With glowing specks of life that can outshine the sun
And I hang onto my dreams,
Above all, may the Almighty see me through
As I silently whisper these soliloquies.
