“The dance”
The dance
A Poem by Coyote Poetry

The dance
In the twilight of the day.
We can dance to Lana Del Rey.
You told me. Time to forget the day and welcome the night.
I watched you and you stole my eyes and thoughts dancing
in your cotton dress. I told you. All I can see is you.

The punctuation was perfectly placed, it provided this piece with such oomph. I have a question about the second line, “You can dancing to Lana Del Rey”. I found it unclear and a bit confusing. What am I missing here?
The picture is beautiful and the accompanying poem matches it move for move in it’s dance. -Carrie. Posted 1 Year Ago |
