How dare another person decide somebody’s fate
intentionally taking life because of their own hate

intimidate the masses to prove some kind of point
scar minds, develop sorrow, through terror and disjoint

My soul hurts for the families of children lost too soon
Their lives forever broken by mournings fateful tune

Each stuck with thoughts that torment set on a repeat track
of things they could have changed to get their loved ones back

I send my prayers and wishes along with thousands more
humanity is present united at the core
