Amazing poetry by a talented writer. Please read and enjoy.

Suspended between earth and sky,
Motion itself motionless,
The dancer’s impudence in the face of gravity,
Insult the Deity who pouts in his chamber.
What has He do with this wild thing,
Suspended between the earth and sky?
Motion itself motionless,
On music’s sensuous string.
Unconscious of the stars and Deities,
The dancer pirouettes,
Or churns up dust beneath her feet,
To the beat of native drums,
As natural to him to as body heat.
The dancer is the spirit’s astronaut.
Flightless, the flies, wingless, heiress,
With me at his side weightless with joy!! …
