Consequences
Consequences

——————————————————————————————————————
I do love you, love you like the wild sea, love you like the California mountains.
You and I.
I am Lake Huron and you are the Pacific.
We cannot never meet,
If I had you near.
I would stop my life and run away with you.
——————————————————————————————————————–
Consequences of seeing your face,
holding your hands and sharing a cup of coffee,
make me loco and I know.
You are my wishing well wish,
you and I,
fire and water,
wrong place and different story.
After I saw your beautiful face,
those beautiful eyes.
I knew,
I was destine to love you forever.
Dancing Coyote
I know this feeling all too well. The love is there, but the circumstances prevent two hearts from being one, at least in the physical sense. We are always connected to them emotionally, but we can never touch… like the fire and water you mentioned. If that water were to touch the fire, the flames would be extinguished. And if the fire were to touch the water, it would boil and evaporate. Both left in tragedy. Really beautiful and heartfelt poem, John.

Thank you Manessah. I do agree. A hard place to be and to know.
