Empathy is critical to our existence and our survival. Some have more than others, but it is imperative that our leaders demonstrate and encourage empathy. I’ve noticed great empathy at the local levels of our government, but I’m not seeing it at all at the national level, which is disheartening. 

I hope you are all staying positive and taking all precautions to stay healthy and to stop the spread of the Covid-19 virus. I broke out the old sewing machine and started making face masks for family and friends, staying busy and helping others helps me get through these days. What are you doing to stay sane?
