Deadly thoughts”
Did we love enough?
Did we run away to find something more wonderful?
Or did we fear the ending before the beginning?

You were the most beautiful girl I ever known.
You made me smile, you knew how to make you laugh.
You held me so tightly and you knew.
Love is fleeting and I was a storm.
Wanting everything and nothing in the same words.

Do men become stone and rock?
Does passion disappear with age and replaced with,
hard memories and becoming lost in shallow graves?
I remember love, love don’t remember me.
Did I kill the need to love? Did I kill my lover passion?
Or does the heart need less with the adding of new moons.
Old age, becoming sour wine memories.

OK. That worked. (Why do I have to jump through these hoops just to share great works of art?)
Makes me wanna spit.

Hello my friend. I have time off after tonight. I will read some more of your book. I semi-retired. Working three days a week. I hope to find time to edit my work. Hard to find time to write. I have a houseful. Daughter and three grandchildren are staying with me. Have some fun and be careful.

Either Facebook is Stupid or WP is stupid, or both are likely stupid, but I have tried to ‘share’ your post TWICE and it does not show up, so I am just gonna copy the url and post it that way. I can use the technology even if I do not understand it. Cheers.

I do not see your ‘like’ button, but then, my WP is broken and I have spent a lot of time recently in ‘chat’ with them to try to fix their brokenness or my ignorance. We finally gave up and called it a ‘draw.’
