A crimson sun bloomed in the sky 
Late one afternoon 
At the hour when dusk 
Settles over the realm 
Like an opulent magnolia tree 
At the height of summer 
Afore autumn summons

From beauty into beauty flowering
In the vast open skies 
Of palest blue upon a cold evening 

By a retinue of sycophants 
Attended 
In raiment of fine silk attired 
Dyed soft hued
In salmon pinks and pale lilacs
The scene embellishing exquisite 
Never more beautiful 
Than this unique eventide enchanted 
Beyond compare
