Confession of a sinner…
Confession of a sinner…
I’m sitting with my friend at the Stray Cat Inn. The old Marine told me. Brave men seeking war, just fool’s seeking and learning the taste of blood. After you kill and taste blood. You are forever lost in the folly of killing for forgotten wars and the deadly sins.
He told me. My war is over and I had killed for nations who have forgotten the reasons we fought. I have sinned my friend. I have drank the hard booze for 50 years, I befriended and lost kind women and I have done deadly violence. Can’t erase or take back the deeds done. We are what we are.
He whispered to his whiskey glass. Men believe. War is the way to peace, biggest lie ever told. Our leader’s greatest sin. Send our young men and women to war for profit and oil. War is just the murder of the innocence.
Men greatest sin.
