Maybe yes, maybe no?
Maybe yes, maybe no?
A Poem by Coyote Poetry
First poem in awhile my friends. Too much thinking. June-days poem one
Maybe yes, maybe no?
He saw her, a hair of ginger, a face of a angel. He chased her till she couldn’t run no-more. She asked him. Do you soldiers believe love is everything and women are your prey?
He smiled and he told her. If I saw a valley of wildflowers, I would see only you my dancing flower. You have stole my thoughts, my heart. I am following you and if you don’t want me near. I will leave you be.
She laughed at my words and she asked. Do you believe I am following you? Maybe yes, maybe no?
He took her hands and he held the hands gently. He smiled and he told her. The dilemma of love, the agony of love, the reluctance of love make us wish for the sweet kiss. You can not stop love and love is a hurricane. You make my restless heart want to find safe place in the glory of your eyes.
She thought a minute and she told him. I do like you, you make me smile and you make me laugh. Maybe we can drink some coffee, discuss Donne, Hemingway, Bukowski and Jack London. Maybe we can find equal ground where we can walk together.
