Everything is fair in love and war. Except, it’ isn’t.

It took me twenty years of my small life, to understand that being in love, doesn’t make you entitled;

Not to a person, not to a feeling, not to a place. You could love something with all your existence, trust me, every little bodily function could choose to scream I love you, and yet your love is allowed to keep them unmoved. You could love a plant with all your life, and if it choses to wilt, it will wilt. Your love does not give you the privilege to decide for them.

You could love the ocean enough to bleed your skin salts into it, and one day, if it decides to wake up and swallow itself; you do not have the right to question it. You do not have the right to ask it to spit itself back…
