The painted memories…

The painted memories..

Mia, the pretty artist on the Monterey pier. She love to paint the sea and the faces of people. She told me often. Johnnie, we need painted memories for our heart and our mind. We need to remember the labyrinth of wandering the ancient cities where we tried to get lost in. We need to remember the midnight kisses and we need to listen to the music of the sea. You and me, we love the violinist and the pianist who can make us wander away to better place, make us dream, the great dream.

We need to remember the exquisite soft kisses and dancing with a lover, near the sea. We need to create new stories with every new day and we must seek the beautiful places. You and me had found the Big Sur hidden waterfall and we fell in love with her. We tried to swim in the dangerous Big Sur sea. We were so brave and so foolish.

We need the stories dear friend. When we are old and gray. We shall know, we had lived, we had loved and we adored the beauty of nature.

We will have our painted memories in our heart, in our minds. These memories will become our wealth in old age.
