I need a year in Monterey and Big Sur to write my novel. The Beauty of Monterey and Big Sur will steal your heart. I need a coffee and some good conversation at the River Inn in Big Sur. I need a Irish whiskey on the pier where Hemingway sat. The sea is near, kind people and the beauty of nature. A California blessing.

Steinbeck lived in tent for a few weeks in Big Sur. In his book. He wasn’t happy. Big Sur is a hard place still. Beautiful and dangerous dear Michele.
