Swiftly love can come. Swiftly love can go away..
Swiftly love can come..
Swiftly love can come,
swiftly love go away.
Today we walked the Port Austin pier,
one mile into the beauty of Lake Huron.
And the world is so far away from us.
I asked my lady of the lake,
do you love me still?
She took my hands and she whispered.
When the love is true.
Love shall never die and
I love you so.
Dancing Coyote
This poem’s brief stanzas speak so much about the transient Nature of passion and love. I don’t know if that’s what you intended but couldn’t help observing it.
