Our legacy.
Legacy, some little poetry..
1- The Monterey tavern poet sat alone and beautiful Eleanor sat with him.
Her eyes seeking his face, her eyes seeking his voice.
He asked her, dear Eleanor.
What do you need tonight?
She smiled and she told him.
I have questions that need answers.
He told her, please ask and I will try to answer.
She took his hands and she asked him.
Did you find your mermaid in the taverns?
Did you find the utopia of the fatal kiss of death near?
Did you know joy?
He kissed her forehead and he told her.
I went to war and death didn’t want me,
I held joy in my arms and I lost her.
And I was blessed tonight,
I have the prettiest mermaid in Monterey holding my hands.
I am blessed.
2- The chronicle of a life,
is to cross many bridges and touching many new earth with our feet.
We will become many people and we will tried to be kind.
A good life is leaving the world better then we received her.
