Peace, mercy and forgiveness.
Death Valley United States Soldiers graveyard outside of Paris.
Peace, mercy and forgiveness.
A Poem by Coyote Poetry
Forgiveness and the lost of hate. Is mercy for our spirit. Can’t live in the past.
Peace, my friend.
Will it be possible when we bury our last child wrapped in flags of honor?
When the hate and violence of war kill off all the good in our world?
War is man’s sin. Sending the young men and woman to die for the profit of war.
A eye for a eye world.
No-one will win.
Our children will pay for our hate and separation.
I loaded the dead from Death Valley into storage containers.
Thousand of men lost to war. We freeze the bodies waiting for the war to end.
Families didn’t know if their sons and fathers were dead.
No mercy in war. No mercy for the people left behind.
Just a lifetime to learn to understand.
War take the best from us.
Forgiveness.
We send our children to war.
Do we blame the enemy or our country?
Time for USA.
To quit sending guns and soldiers to keep war alive.
Quit supporting people who hate us.
Time to fix the problems at home.
Invest in the people.
Our kids need opportunity. Education and time to enjoy their life.
Old wise saying.
“Fix your house first before trying to fix somebody else house.”
War is man’s sin.
Time to lock down our borders.
Leave the bad folks out.
Time for the healing to begin.
We need peace, mercy and forgiveness for the sake of the children.

If I been in two fucked up countries with the Spanish Legion since I volunteered to join, what does that make me? Did I enjoy it,naaa, did I let my friends go and not me? couldn´t live with that. If you make the decision and enlist in the army(whatever country it maybe) I joined because of bad economic times and cause it was a challenge. I could´ve stayed working as a waiter and earn 200$ more though in the civilan world. But I chose that other path, and like me there are hundreds of thousands, what makes a young man join the infantry? At the end of the day they do tell you that you are there to kill if necessary and that your job does entitle some risk to say the least. So are we mercenaries, a world full of mercenaries since all the armies of democratic nations are a volunteer army. What does that make me? a bad person? Should I have some remorse? I don´t. I had, not so much now, some anger because of one dead friend and another with his leg fucked up. You ask the one with his leg fucked up and he´ll tell you he´d be back in a second to those fucked up countries, what does that make him, a bad person?mercenary? I can´t answer those questions myself, I can say that you should be grateful in the U.S that at least people know what you go through(not really deep just by them watching the t.v) and having a great deal of support when you come home. When the bodies of Spanish soldiers return home there is no official ceremony, medals are given, some, not all get their medals(not that they make you important but at least is a way to recognise your well done job, it´s a job I didn´t go there thinking I was going to save Spain from terrorism, you get called you are trained you go.)no medals because the socialist government would then have to acknowledge that the medal is a combat medal and we were there as peace keepers, that´s a joke no wonder this girl asked my how it was over there as if I just came from vacationing in Hawaii. Media was banned from following us plus the public don´t give a shit and a lot of the public when they find out you´re in the Legion or army your called a fascist, no recording devices taken or you could easily land in jail. No official burials except when it was too obvious to many dead for spanish standards and the media picked it up. But the government would rather let it pass by. It´s tragic? yes, Necessary? maybe, mercenaries us soldier or ex-soldiers? probably if the definition is that you fight for money. Just thoughts.

I did the same thing. I joined when the Vietnam war was on. There was no jobs or opportunities. One week out of high school. I was in basic training. Old wise saying. Children are the wealth of a nation. Need to take care of and educate. These words are forgotten. I’m tire of war. We need to fix world economy. Create jobs and hope. Thank you for the comment.

Agreed,no doubt the factors you just named may help the factor of war to hopefully go away.

Until he extends his circle of compassion to include all living things, man will not himself find peace…

An eye for an eye has never worked…why do we insist it be the law of the land…forgiveness is the only way humanity will survive.

We need Great Peacemakers in the world. The one who know what true Peace is. But I Hope to see Greater men in my lifetime. So my Children and Grandchildren know true Peace. I see no Great man stepping forward. How truly sad:( In a suppose ? Intelligent and civilized world..I have some of my favorite boys in Afghanistan and Korea right now. The Warmongers are only after greed and power. Not the sacredness of human life. To them any is expendable. These warmongers haven’t learned that when you die!!They can’t take it with them. I never seen a coffin with a luggage rack. They will be just a memory to future generations, With Eternity all will be forgotten!!!

Beautiful. Each of has a covenant and a purpose which is special, and if we do not fulfill it, — there is no one else who will. Who will save us then.

Someone once said. We must save ourselves first than seek to repair the world around us. Thank you for the comment.
