Addiction to love
Addiction to love.
A Poem by Coyote Poetry
Need to have many dances and know a whole lot of laughter. Life is to be lived.

True love.
Foolish love.
Tantalizing dances into warm embrace.
Needed love.
Blind ceremony in the burning want of passion and energy.
Higher and higher lovers climb.
Reaches peaks and valleys.
Lover’s bleed their heart and souls to the spirits of the night.
Secret whispers lay open and raw.
There is no place to return after the words are spoken,
after two bodies become one.
Lover’s love.
They hold on tight throughout the cold night.
The morning light will appear.
Two people awake with the burning desire to hold on.
Coyote

I loved your poem, so simple and so easily convey this truth, also it struck me the fact that many times our need for love is considered an addiction, that is what brought me to read it in the first time, I was curious, but once I read it I realized that somehow we all are love addicts, it is something vital to live, to truly live and then, those memories sustain us for a lifetime once it’s gone, fades or evolves. Thanks!

Thank you for reading and the comment. Love is always needed. Love changes with time and family. Love and kindness in the end is all we got.
