For women to succeed as leaders in a patriarchal world, we have to become tough like men. Some female leaders at the highest levels tend to overcompensate, becoming worse than men. Moreover, from my own life experience, we women can be our own worst enemies.
Change will only come when men and women work together as equal partners, as one head, with shared goals. Like the poet, I’m also a dreamer.
