The gift of love. No more honored gift.

The lucky one
She offered me a smile and a hello.
I was besieged by her beauty.
She asked me to dance the Texas two step. I agreed.
I held her close and told her.Thank you for the dance. You are so beautiful and too kind.
She kissed my cheek and whispered. Soldier, I like your style.
Real men don’t rush into the fire. They allow the flame to grow and become strong.
Today I’m the lucky one to have met you Johnnie.
I kissed her forehead and I told her. I’m the lucky one.
