Tears Rain
when war overshadows peace & love
and is allowed into our thoughts
our homes
our hearts
then war is victorious…
there is nothing victorious
about war
no good can be gained
and while war continues
tears will rain
for Angels cry
and do I …
there is nothing victorious
about crushed souls
and stolen dreams
nor shattered Earth
now gaping holes
where once
lovers met
beneath
moon-shadows
and sunrise gleam…
there is nothing victorious
about blood and death
and last breaths
fading from lips
that miss a lovers kiss…
no good can be gained

Greetings everyone and thank you all so very much… and thank you Johncoyote.
Thoughts and fears weigh heavy in my heart. The history of human evolution has been blighted by wars since the beginning of time, from feudal tribes to modern day wars. But this is 2015, the people as a whole have had enough; too much blood has been poured on the Earth, too many lives have been lost, children-women-men…. it’s past time for it all to end, past time for a new era of civilized peace to begin.
