I’m not a princess or a damsel in distress
I don’t need rubies nor riches
I don’t need a handsome prince either
I’m just a hopeless romantic with worn armor

All I have ever wanted
Was to believe that love exists
That happily ever afters happen
And that fairytales weren’t complete lies

I’ll have to kiss many frogs
And I’ll suffer from mistakes
But one day I’ll find true love
No matter how many times my heart breaks
