Spring’s serenade
Amazing poetry by a talented writer. Please read and enjoy.
The snow was beautiful
falling softly
it’s purity blanketing the earth
it’s quiet whisper
full of her longing.
She wrote for him
her Winter’s muse
warming him with her prose
delicately caressing his soul
her kiss felt
across land and sea.
He was the book
she would not
could not
put down
kept in the forgotten library of her mind
where she would read him again and again
ravenous for the words
that would bring him closer
until she found him
and herself
again
in Spring’s serenade.
