With awed silence
I behold her.
The longer I look upon
The fonder I
Grow of her.

Her head is tilted
Towards the left;
She holds it high
Like a proud swan.

Her soft features adorns
Her gentle, round face;
Her skin, smooth like clay.

She is neither fair, rosy
Nor conventionally beautiful.
However, she is radiant
Like the sun.

Her big, dark eyes
Bore a hole through me.
My soul lays bare
In front of her.

Her quiet laughter rings
In my ears,
Through this stillness.

Her partially exposed breasts,
So satiny and delicate,
Heaves hidden under her
Blue velvet dress.

She is almost palpable.
