What Is A Friend

If you’re right or wrong they are there till the end.
That’s how is should be, when you have a true friend.
What is a true friend? So hard to find.
The meaning of friendship I will try to define.
The symbol of friendship as we all well know.
Is found in the garden, a pure yellow rose.
What lesson can this yellow rose teach?
That someone is there not far out of reach.
Right by your side through thick or thin.
And keeps cheering you on whether you lose or win.
To share all the emotions you have deep inside.
To comfort you calmly when you want to cry.
Just to be there to help you to see.
This is the friend that I want to be.
