I was raised by a stepmother. I called her mother. She gave love and raised many children. The word Mother should be used in honor of strong and wonderful woman.
Memory of a Mother

A beautiful and wonderful lady who died too young.)
Names given are earned.
Not easy to become.
You were a mother to many.
You try to love all of us.
Errors made in a life haunted your dreams and life.
The good deeds overcame all your mistakes.
Mother and Mama. Sweet words spoken to a woman who loved her children.
You shall be to me.
Mama Sonja for your gift of love.

That’s really beautiful John, a wonderful honour for someone who gave so much! I totally agree with the statement “The word Mother should be used in honor of strong and wonderful woman.” That is a true mother, not necessarily a biological mother, but one who cares for your whole being.
I had a friend who never married, never had any children and yet was such a caring person, those in need would naturally run to her for help. She was very much a mother for all who had no one to run to. On the day of her funeral, the gathering was the largest I’d ever see. For someone who only had one living relative left, she had gained a greatly extended family.
True ‘mothers’ like that make a world much stronger. 🙂

I agree Suzy. I have known kind woman who were like a mother to me. Love , kindness and concern make a happy heart and soul.
