Don’t let the darkness in your head
All the love you meant to share
You shared
All the tears we’ll never hear
All the dreams that disappear
Sometimes you feel so alone
In the shadows of regret
Don’t let the darkness in your head
All the things you meant to say
You Said
All the love you meant to share
You shared
Don’t let the darkness in your head
All the pain that’s messin up your mind
Makes you feel like they’re leavin you behind
Sometimes you feel so alone in the shadows of regret
Don’t let the darkness in your head
All the songs you meant to sing
You did
All the love you meant to share
You shared
Don’t let the darkness in your head
Don’t let the darkness in your head
All the songs you meant to sing
You did
Don’t let the darkness in your head

No, no, no. This is like having someone tell you that your severe depression is “all in your head” and to snap out of it. We do not have complete control over our emotions, and dark emotions are part of the human experience. This is more applicable for a stuffed animal than a complex human being.

I’ve never ripped apart someone’s work before. Don’t feel good about it. However, I felt the message needed to be confronted.

Honest opinions are needed. We learn more from bad comments than good.
