Her garden
Her garden
A Poem by Coyote Poetry
Just words
Her garden
I loved her from a-far, she was a true beauty. She loved working in her garden and she loved her roses and her natural herbs.
We would talk of Dryden, Donne and Ben Jonson.
She told me often, “my garden is like my children, Always needing fresh water and concern.
We must adore the days of the blooming flowers and the laughter of our children.
I believe she knew I adored her.
We allowed our words and our friendship to expand.
I became part of her garden.

… sharing fresh water and concern for one another ❤
