The moon and the stars

The moon and the stars

Once I was free and a wild soul, wanting and needed nothing. I was looking for the idyllic setting, place of perfect view and the dancing sea.

I wanted the darkness till I saw her eyes. Her golden brown eyes seeing me and making me feel the want to see the light of the day again, wanting to be near her, to be able to listen to her sweet voice.

She was more pretty than a million stars on a clear Monterey night. I asked you. Dear pretty lady sweet, why do you come near me?

She came to me and she wrapped your arms around me. She whispered. “Life can be lingering hell, filled with emptiness and turmoil. Or we can leave the days of yesterday behind us, make this day, our best days, dear poet. You and I had drunk the sour wine and we need to taste the sweetness of the Fall sweet wine. Love cost little, when we are content with enough. Greed in love steal the sweetness and tenderness. Tonight, you and I shall dance a Fall waltz with the Pacific. A new night, a new place and the sea. Utopia for us dear poet.”

I brought her, to her feet. We danced with the sea and for the stars and I told her. You are my idyllic place. Please hold me close till our love become forever written upon the night sky and the kind sea, will tell a tale, of love forever.

    1. People are greedy. Slow and easy, make all things sweeter and kinder. Thank you for reading and the comment. I do appreciate.
