To all those men and women,
Who fought to keep us free,
I give my heart to thee.
Some went as boys,
And came back as men.
Some went as boys,
And never came back.
And those families left behind,
Pray and pray each day till-
one day a man with a letter that says,
“Your son/ husband have passed away”.
Who could be so cruel,
to let them die alone.
Where their souls could never rest in peace,
Because the war never ceased.
And the man who sent them to war zones,
Still plays a game of GOLF;
Still vacationing in Martha’s Vineyard!! …

Powerful poetic words that speak the truth. Let it be known that for those that declare war, should be the first to go and fight with men and women whose bravery is rarely given credit enough to share, but the cowards with all the bluster, never do, and never pay the price of war.
