   My Dad was stationed there too for a short period in the early 60s and my brother graduated at the school it now is. It is truly beautiful. Thank you for sharing!

   I am from a small town just outside Monterey. I used to volunteer at the aquarium. I love it there. It is absolutely beautiful.

     You are lucky. I was station at Fort Ord for three years from 1992-1994. Most beautiful place I ever seen. Highway one, Big Sur to San Francisco.
