Thank you dear lady of kindness, lady of peace.
Beautiful and kind Joan Baez.
You stood for love,
today and yesterday.
I love your face of today and of yesterday.
Your deeds and words,
never forgotten.
You stood with giants in the seeking of peace and equality.
You are not forgotten,
dear angel of peace.

I would love to befriend a woman,
who fought war and violence with love.

Joan was more brave than we know. She stood for the right things for 60 plus years. She is still active and I agree. We need more people like Joan Baez.
