You ran on

Like an untamed horse

Kicking off

The saddle

Only thing left to cradle

Emptiness within

Breathing in

I will fill myself

With moments

That lasted

Within lungs filled with your taste

I draw in with haste

Unknown zest

For life a tingle

Within me

Deep hidden

Death and life as they mingle

They bring to soul rest
