Oh my lover…

Oh my lover

Kisses not resiste and interlacing bodies twisted-up in the Texas two-step.
The hot Texas nights and lonely souls sharing time and the long Island ice tea.
Sweet lady whispered. No rainbows to find tonight dear Poet.  Let attempt fate, my soldier. The mercy of the long night allowed us to betray the fragile balance of life.

Oh my lover, rage and pain we do know.  Do you dream of me my lover?  I know where to find you. You have locked yourself in a self made prison for a 10,000 days. You told me once. Life have given you a fistful of dirt and silk. The illusion of perfection is reached when people quit pretending and release the walls of safety. Be nude and true to the night moon. Demanding the lover’s payment. The body craving must know peace with cost.

The song ended and we wandered back to hidden corner of the Texas tavern. She laid her back against me. I cupped her breasts and tasted her neck and  I whispered. We play the game of the in and out of love. We hide in deep caves of dark taverns for you are not mine. We walk a dangerous edge demanding everything and betraying all who that matters. Oh my lover. You have made me your captive, to your kiss and the heat of your body. We have no-where to go. Except disappointment.

Pretty woman smiled and she told me. It is okay my lover. When we are locked-up and accepted less. The small taste of the ambrosia of love is enough.  We have the taverns and the road-side motels. The madness of bliss is needed and let’s have no concern for tomorrow. Oh my lover. I need to know the feeling of your hands against my skin and the long embrace. I need to know the feeling of being needed and feeling beautiful.

I brought her closer and I whispered. You are so beautiful my love.
