Thankfulness
Thankfulness
Once I wanted everything. Today I have enough.
Once I was the gin, sin and traveling man.
I wanted to drink a shot of whiskey in a 100 countries and
put my feet in every sea.
Now I have dear Michigan,
the great lakes and my grandchildren near.
I have the laughter of my grandchildren,
beach days and quiet life.
The great wealth of a lucky man.

I slowed down my life and I can enjoy the time with the grandchildren. We must learn. Children grow-up so fast. Thank you my friend for reading and the comment.
