My daughter will turn 25 years old on 17 May. She was my baby girl who taught me what love was. Took me 36 years to find a safe place and a kind woman.
I didn’t belong to anyone or anything until the gift of love found me. The ancient poets told us. We don’t find love, love will find us.
I remember holding her little feet, her little hands and her loving eyes blessing me.
I quit the Army for her and she made my sleeping heart come alive to know hope.
Happy birthday my beautiful daughter Baby Beulah.
Forever and a day, you will be my little girl who smile could create joy and happiness in my life.
