A amazing song and the words.

I overlooked the orchid….
I overlooked the orchid while searching for a rose.
The orchid I overlooked was you.
The rose that I was searching for was proved to be untrue.
The orchid, now I found, was you.
The orchid is a flower that blooms so tenderly,
to cheer the fairest lady of the land.
If placed beside the blushing rose,
the rose could not compare.
Now how time and wine taught me to understand.
The rose has lost its color but the orchid is still the same.
And I am alone to face the lonely year.
I didn’t see the orchid, I was searching for a rose.
And now I’ll pay the price with bitter tears.

Never too late to find the many beautiful lesser-seen flowers, within or without. It’s wonderful to be alive. It’s a beautiful world.
