A slow dance….
A slow dance…
————————————————————————————————————
Once sweet baby, we held love so tightly,
you were my everything.
Now we are strangers reaching out for a miracle.
Maybe we need some gin and juice,
some good songs and some forgiveness.
Who was wrong, who was right.
Don’t matter sweet baby.
When we speak the goodbye.
Love won’t come home no-more.
——————————————————————————————————————-
Once we talked, once we knew the sweetness of love,
now we forgot, how I washed your hair and you listened to my stories.
We did the midnight dance when the kids were asleep and
now we are, two people.
Drowning in the want to run and to stay?
Maybe we need some songs and a slow dance.
Maybe we need to figure out,
if love is sweet or if love is a heavy load.
———————————————————————————————————————–
A slow dance
Just a slow dance, sweet lady,
let’s us dig hard and deep,
let’s find out if the love is true,
or love is the greatest lie.
Just a slow dance,
you and I.
Last dance, first dance.
Love is balance on sticks and stone.
We can fall or we can hold on tighter.
Dancing Coyote

I am here too. I am alive another day. Mr. Steven. Please get a life. I dislike a lot of things. I just go by them and worry about my own problems. Again, have some fun today. If someone liked your poetry. You should be proud.

How about you get a life John? You’re the one claiming to be what you’re not. Stop telling me what I should do or how I should feel. You were asked to do something simple. You made it hard. You made it feel bad for the ladies and you told them their feelings didn’t matter. You’re not in the right. You’re the problem.

Hi John. Here I am so you can find my blog. Sorry, it didn’t work out buddy. I think if you click on my avatar it will lead you to me… Lemme know if not.
Btw, Priti doesn’t actually listen to anyone’s music videos. She basically says the same thing to everyone. Most of us ignore her now. She’s nice enough I suppose. Just not actually into anyone but herself.

Priti is alright. Mr. Steven. A negative view on all things will leave you blind. I am thankful Priti shared her thoughts.

Priti didn’t actually share her thoughts, fool.
She didn’t listen to or watch your video. She’s like you that way. She goes around superficially to get others to come to her site. Unlike you, she doesn’t steal other peoples work and copy it poorly to say she’s a better writer and then write an essay that instructs us to take it like flattery. She’s harmless. You are what makes wordpress entirely mediocre, however.

What you are being asked to do is to go to your “likes” in your dashboard and where you recently “liked” (tagged) Steven’s blog please click on the star and remove your “like” so that we may all be clear where we stand. There is no harm intended to you or offense. We are collectively asking you to keep to your lane. Respectfully. The only reason we have come out en masse to request this, is not because we ever followed your work, in fact we avoided it. But you tagged up Steven’s posts. And we don’t endorse you. We agree to your freedom of speech. We don’t think your politics are intact. You need to be defending democracy if you served in the army. You need to be Pro-Choice and for human rights if you care about women, not just being all nostalgic about your sex life of old. SO Untag Steven’s blog. Soon as you are able. Thanks. (Don’t take it personal, we kick lots of different folks curbside.)

I share good work and some people share my work. My goal is to show the good poets to other writers. I give no opinions. I take no credit for their work. We need to read and think. I show no disrespect when I Reblogged a talented writer. You say tag. I read four hours daily books and the sites I use. I don’t know what you are reading. I am pro-women, anti-war and I never harm a woman. My father did. You are making scrabble eggs of a honor. When someone share my work. I appreciate. You need to spend time on worthwhile topic. After one day. My work and my reblogged are forgotten. You want me take down. Hit the poem and I will delete off. Which is sad. Many good readers had read the work and I hope he found new readers. I recommend. Seek something worthwhile to attack. I am just a lover of good words. I don’t bother people who expand the work of writers. We write, to be read. This is an open site. Anyone can read our work and this is okay. Have a good morning and I hope you can find something useful to do.

I apology. I can’t find Steven’s blog anywhere. Like I wrote you. I read four hours every day. I like the good work and pass by the work (Don’t read.) that don’t excite my soul. When you post poetry. An open area of many writers. I hope you have a wonderful May Day. Change the world by voting. If all women voice against the anti-women leaders. Women vote more than men. They can change the Senate and the Congress. This is what I believe. Vote out the lousy leaders. Get your sister, get your mother, get your daughters, get your grandma and get your great grandmother. Vote them out. Do something. Not cry about it. I support women rights. No-one had the right to tell a woman, or anyone how to act/think or love. And this included, how I write.

No, I’m not talking about re-blogs or YOUR site. I want you to remove your “likes” from Steven’s blog. “Likes” aren’t the same as reblog-sharing. And even when you re-blog you should usually ask the author if it’s ok, if you don’t know them. “likes” are you leaving your calling card. It’s your gravatar so others may find you. So, what you do is You go into your dashboard and you click on the reader and the reader will say likes. You click on that. Then you see all the blogs you have “liked” and when you see Steven’s posts you click on the star which will change it from blue to clear and that will remove you from his space. Again, I request respectfully that you Please do this as soon as you are able to. Thank you.

Or perhaps a quicker way, would be to go directly to Steven’s blog thread so you don’t have to sift thru all of your other likes. In which case, you can find him in your comment notification thread and click on his blog title from there. Once there you will see your blue stars that you may click on so they will go back to clear, thus removing you from his space. I hope this makes sense to you now, and that you do this as soon as you are able to. And then we may all resume our work however we are all most comfortable and with no further transgressions, however unintentional. Thank you.

Enjoy your happy group. It is sad when people see in one direction only. Life is like a four-way stop. We need to ensure, we have the right of way.

You’re not sad. You’re just selfish. You’re unwilling to remove your likes or too stupid to do it. Poor you. Poor superficial you. And no, life is not a “LIKE” a four way stop. Not even remotely. You’re a car thief and a hit and run.

This was accompanied by its own music, a sort of slow, sad, twangy country, that played as I read it. Bravo… A relatable capture of longing.
