June poetry number five. So many people need help in the USA. Need help from the fat politician in Washington D.C. The House of Rep received 1.2 billion for living quarters and food. 2.3 million each. 
“According to Apartment List, 24% of Americans did not make a full, on-time housing payment in April. In May, that number rose to 30% and reached 32% in July. Eviction moratoriums across the country, one-time stimulus checks, and expanded unemployment have helped people to stay in their homes for the time being. As those moratoriums expire, expanded unemployment runs out, and court houses reopen; more than 20 million renters could be at risk of eviction by September. Without monthly rent income, landlords can’t make mortgage payments. Mass evictions would be devastating for individuals, families, communities and ultimately economic recovery.
Low-income women, particularly low-income women of color, face higher eviction rates. Women from Black neighborhoods account for 30% of evictions, while only comprising 9.6% of the population. Risk factors for eviction, according to a Policy Research Brief by the MacArthur Foundation, include: having children, lower wages, and domestic violence. Approximately 16 million American children live in households headed by a single mother.” Thank you

I went to the bus-stop on Friday. A woman with her three children had tears in her eyes. She told me. She was afraid she would lose her home and yesterday she cried herself to sleep. No-one would answer their phone. I went to her porch and I listen to her. She told me. I had to buy gas and food. Wasn’t enough left to pay the house payment. I held silence till she was done talking. I told her. Please seek help. I know you are proud and sometimes. We need help. She laid her head into my shoulder and I told her. I would watch her son if she needed me to. She told me. Thank you John for listening to me. I know three women in the same situation. Advance Child Tax Credit and Stimulus checks are needed now. Protection for the 40 million people who could be homeless.
When blind men and women lead us…
Every congressman received $2.3 million for housing and food yearly. They eat and eat while their people are hungry and become homeless. When the blind men and blind women cannot see the suffering of the poor. They are just greedy people seeking self gain. The new leaders cannot vote a bill to law. I do not want help, I am okay. But mothers and fathers struggling to keep their homes, feed their children. They need help. I don’t care what party they are. It is time to help the people of the USA.
Today we must write, call and demand help for the people to the leaders in Washington D.C. Yesterday a mama told me at the bus stop. I had to decide to feed my children, buy gas. Wasn’t enough left to pay my house payment. She could be homeless soon. A good mother with three children. I had no proper words to help her. If I had enough money. I would give her the money.
I am so tire of our leaders in Washington D.C. It is time the blind men and the blind women to vote a bill to help the people losing their homes. They need to pass bills to ensure every child had enough food.
Please write, please call your leaders. Tell them, we had enough.

Me too dear Cassa. No-one like Trump. But he supported the people with children with tax credit and money. He put in effect. You couldn’t kick someone out into the street. We need these back again. Food and gas prices. Out of control. Thank you for reading and the comment.

We elected a prime minister who grew up in social housing from a single parent family, so hopefully he as dvoctae for housimg shortage in our country.

The homeless situation in the UK 🇬🇧 is bad too. Yet, during the pandemic they put all the homeless in hotels! Now they are appearing on the streets of our cities again. Probably because now the hotels are full of families and refugees. It is rare to see a woman on the streets but I have seen one in Manchester, our nearest biggest city. Most of our homeless are old men, young men and veterans, who have complex mental health issues. Our politicians live in big houses and like you say are blind to the homeless. 😪 We have to make this a more equal world. ❤

I agree dear Carolyn. If we don’t change our ways. Big trouble will happen soon. The mass killings in the USA. Prime example of the frustration of the people in the USA.

We must dear Bridgett and our leaders in Washington D.C. Must help the people needing help. We need the Trump bill back. Stopping the landlords from kicking women and children to the street. Dear Bridgette. Our leader hadn’t pass many bills for the people. Next election. I will get involved. Career politicians must be fired in the next election. Thank you for reading and the comment.
