AFRICAN LOVE (1)❤️

Every night,
I would watch her drown,
In an immense ocean of siesta,
While holding her hand at the bedside.

Crouching at the bed,
Her warm evenly whiff,
Would occasionally fan my face,
Her soft breath fleeing time and again.

I would stare at the heave,
Of her beautiful heart racing,
In sync with mine a testament of us,
An umbilical of our immortal affection.

A smile would light my face,
Warm mute tears escaping my eyes,
Trekking down my daddy to be cheeks,
An affidavit of authentic fatherly love.

My mind would drift,
At that moment of our meeting,
How perfect it would be,
Having you in my arms.

My heart would pummel harder,
With thoughts of your eyes on mine,
With your soft little hands clutching my finger,
A silent pact of never letting go of you, my beloved.
