Mercy, forgiveness and save the children.

(April is poetry month. New poetry number twenty-one.)

1- Mercy.

Today a very hard world for so many.

War, hunger and sickness is everywhere.

No place is untouched.

Israel pushing people from ancient cities, create a homeless place for Palestine and Lebanon.

So many wars are going on and the war contractors and rich men getting richer.

How do the children sleep when guns and bombs are near?

Please lord of life and death.

Give mercy to the people in need.

2- Forgiveness.

Cold, cold world we live in.

A great man told us. Gandi told us. ” An eye for an eye world. Will all of us blind.”

USA bombing schools, Israel trying to erase a race of people.

Double-talker president talk peace and war in the same sentence.

You cannot say war and peace in same sentence and be meaningful.

My Ojibwa grandmother forgave the white people in the USA for taking her away from her home,

She told me hate and seeking revenge. A heavy burden to carry.

Forgiveness is not easy. I do not believe you can forgive a country that kill children.

I believe we learn to accept the pain of loss and we try to move on.

Please lord of life and death. Give comfort to the people knowing great pain.

3- Save the children.

“Protect all children even if they are not yours”

Today in the USA. President said no free lunch for the children.

He wants 1.5 trillion for the war machine.

They are hungry people in the USA, starvation in Palestine, Lebanon and many more places.

Many places in our world, the children are surrounded by the war machine.

What does a mama tell her children when they are no shelter, no food and no safe place to live.

I was a soldier before the President Bush era. Soldier fought and large countries didn’t starve out countries.

Now Cuba is surrounded by the USA. What does the USA want?

I pray to the St. Clair lake. Please teach our leaders to protect the children.

Please Saint Clare of Assisi, help the children, protect the children.

Please give all children shelter, food to eat and a safe place to live.

Our leader in the USA had become mad dogs and please teach them.

Every life had value.
