Powerful song and a poem. July never stayed.

July never stayed.

I found you on a Mayday. Was a warm Spring Day and I never saw anyone so beautiful.

We were young and so brave. We drank the German wine, and we danced by the small lake.

We learn to taste love kisses in the month of June. We traveled to London, Basel and Florence in early July.

Made love for the stars and the moon. We made great promises, we could not keep.

We loved the wildflowers and the sunflower plants. We would seek the sunflowers and wildflowers plants fields.

Hold hands and we would pray. For these days to never end.

I left her to return to the USA. I learn the Month of July could teach me sadness. Was late

July nights and I held her so tightly and we had no words we could say. Youth, the great sea

and life taught us. Love is precious and kind. A rare gift and heartbreak are silence and soft

kisses. Now in July, I hold old photos and I remember the most beautiful girl, I ever known.
