Lullabies…

1- Did we lie?

Did we love?

Did we forget?

2- Once love inferno,

became water down love.

Our warm bed, became cold.

3- I sang lullabies of forever once upon a time,

we believed in forever.

Now quiet hush had overtook the lonely bed.

4- Longing and belonging, we knew.

We painted perfect sea,

we create a canvas of everlasting beauty.

5- Who forgot? Who can remember?

Did we foresee the seclusion?

Was our lullabyes, just brushstroke of words 

to entice the sleeping heart?
