kisses from the sun

Amazing poetry by a talented writer. Please read and enjoy.

One day I am coated the next I am unearthed.

You could connect my dots to draw my picture beneath.

You could kiss me the way the sun kisses me.

I am a kaleidoscope of traveling sights.

I am the map to the world.

I am a child, spent too much time in the sun.

Brown or dark chocolate, or flecks of dirt.

Rub me away and I stay in place.

I spark to life during the summer months peak.

I could tell you where every single one lives on my body, the second they were born.

The sun so happy to see me,

breaks off pieces of himself, every morning.
