April leaving
April leaving
A Poem by Coyote Poetry
Poem thirty for April. The poetry month.
April leaving….
Blossom by Blossom dear Spring begin to appear.
The month of April is leaving us soon.
The ancient poets called April,
the month of confusion.
In the month of April,
we never know what the weather can be.
She is like fickle lover who can be angry, kind or misty.
I love the days of April,
watching the rose bush being reborn and the Tulips appearing.
I adore the apple blossoms blooming at full force.
Our earth, becoming a garden of beauty.
I can hear the hopeful birds singing and we get a taste of warm days.
April is a exquisite month,
old mother Winter is fading away and
the children can run and play again.
May is coming with a promise of warm days. April leaving, the canvas of perfect green is covering our earth and the flowers are beginning to reach for the sun in joy.
