The prettiest girl in my world…
The prettiest girl in my world..
A Poem by Coyote Poetry
July poetry number five.. For my first love of 1976… ![]()
The prettiest girl in my world.
Dear Julie, my sweetest love.
I shall find you and we will wander to the lakes,
we will wander to the West Virginia mountains.
I want your bare feet and legs across my lap,
and I want to fall into your golden brown eyes.
I love your legs sun kissed by the July sun.
I would caress your soft and tender legs and I would tell you.
I love you so.
I want us to seek adventure,
I want us to find places where love can grow,
I want us to find places where is kind. We are safe in love embrace.
I met you at the Candy store in the Fall of 1975.
You worked the counter and I thought,
you were the prettiest girl in my world.
You talks to me so sweetly, so kindly.
I became lost in your eyes.
I didn’t know. You would love me too.
Today my sweetest love.
I am coming to you.
I promise to love you till the end of time.
You are my sweetest and kindest friend.
I love you so, dear Julie.

Thank you dear Joni for reading and the comment. I was listening to George Jones. Took me back to the younger years.

You are welcome my friend. Things seemed less hectic when we were young and less horrifying. Sometimes I wonder about that now. Sending hugs and my love. 🦋
