Lost prayers…
Once careless man sought peace in war. He didn’t learn peace. He learn the law of the gun, the law of the hate, the law of the death whispers.
In Bosnia, little babies murdered, mama murdered because of their religion. Me and my soldiers found 24 women and children in a river, we prayed for them and I asked the night sky. Where is God?
In Death Valley. Many men were in pieces. No first aide could save them. Us soldiers, held strangers speaking different languages and we gave them the morphine. I went through the dead soldiers pockets. I found photos of their family. I prayed to the sun. Please send these men to a better place. Fucking war. Killed the best of us.
I volunteered for Africa. Me and my soldiers had to gather dead people on the road and in the cities. We dug a large pit and we dropped the children, women and men into a large pits. We burn the bodies. If we didn’t. They would create sickness. They had no I.D and all we could do. Us soldiers, we prayed for them. I learn. Starvation is a hell-bound way to die.
Today I asked myself. Did our prayers have purpose? I am a old man now. My time in the military made me kinder. I learn my life wasn’t so hard. Now I have five beautiful grandchildren and I know.
We must pray for the people, who cannot. I hope God is listening. I don’t blame God. God gave us free-will and what did we do? We are trying to kill everything kind and sweet in our world.
I am a old soldier now and I can tell you. You and me. We are the same. We want a safe place for our children and we want peace. I don’t want my grandchildren dying for old men hate.
Today I pray to the Clinton River. Please teach our leaders. Wars killed everything that is beautiful.
Coyote crying.
You were in Bosnia – that was senseless and tragic, but then all wars are, aren’t they?

My unit was supporting the United Nation. Brake your heart, what men do. I agree. Wars are senseless and tragic.

Perhaps on the opposite side of you, a famous Russian writer was standing with a machine gun. He has since passed away, so he cannot be blamed for his mistakes.
